Ahead of summer, Instagram’s original beauty muse and purveyor of New York street style Olivia Palermo has given her wavy, honey-hued hair the long bob treatment.

Enlisting the expertise of renowned hair stylist Andrew J Davis, the 37-year-old The City alum took a leaf out of Hailey Bieber’s Book of Hairstyles, and gave her signature length a blunt chop. A wet cut, a soft blowdry and a slow motion reveal later – and we’re honestly in love!

“Woke up, called my dear friend @andrecelebhair and this is how it went,” Palermo captioned an Instagram reel. Take a look at the process and reveal below.

Palermo’s husband of nine years German model Johannes Huebl commented “Love the new cut.”

We’ve used to seeing Palermo parading the cobbled streets of the West Village with longer hair for years now. But she did sport a shaggier version of this current do back in 2018 when she starred as GRAZIA’s cover model – a shoot which took place at Gelso & Grand in the heart of Little Italy in Manhattan. Take a look.

“With age and time, everything evolves, everyone’s eye evolves,” Palermo told GRAZIA at the time, possibly remembering some of the late 2000 trends. “You definitely have a different eye on things when you are 19 years old than you do when you’re in your thirties. My style has been eclectic and I’ve had the great fortune to be able to see everything. I still like to be polished.”

Polished her new do is, indeed.

Since, Palermo has launched her own cosmetics line Olivia Palermo Beauty partnering up with Paris-based Marie Claire Beauty Group for the venture – and showing up with this life-changing serum-lipstick hack.

“I wanted to create a beauty line that follows my own ethos on fashion — something that fits my mood, but also provides a timeless look that everyone can rely on in a pinch,” Palermo said in a statement to WWD at the time.
