When you hear the name Noah Beck, you instantly think of TikTok, where the 20-year old has cracked the algorithm with his entertaining clips and captivating charm for his 32.4 million followers. However, Noah Beck may soon be associated with high-fashion, podcasts, and perhaps even the big screen. The social media personality has a lot in the works, and his goals are set high, but so far he’s reaching them all. He recently shot a campaign with Coach alongside Jennifer Lopez and his podcast “Put a Sock In It,” created with his friend Larray, launches today.
Ahead, GRAZIA caught up with Beck backstage before the Coach Fall-Winter 2022 runway show to chat all-things fashion, his new podcast, and what’s next.
GRAZIA: Hey, how’s it going?
Beck: Good, man. It’s freezing, I’m loving this
look, though. Perfect for the weather. [Editor’s note, he was
referring to my
balaclava].
GRAZIA: Your new podcast, “Put a Sock In It,”
debuts tomorrow. Are you excited? What inspired it?
Beck: Super stoked! Larray and I figured we’re
already best friends as it is, we hang out all the time, and I feel
like we’re already having the weirdest, most fun conversations, so
why don’t we record them, you know? Maybe add in the element of
having a guest. I think people will really enjoy this podcast, and
I hope they do because they’re honestly going to be running it.
We’re going to try and focus on having the fans run where the
podcast goes. We will interact with them online have a hotline to
dial into and tell us everything.
GRAZIA: How did you and Larray decide on the
name?
Beck: Aha, yeah, so it’s called “Put a Sock in
It,” and obviously, we don’t literally say put a sock in it to each
other, like no one does that. But the saying is a cute way of
saying “shut up,” and we couldn’t call the podcast that, so it
became kind of a cute punchline that’s an insider between Larray
and me when either of us is being stubborn or silly.
GRAZIA: You star alongside mega celebs
including JLo and Megan Thee Stallion in Coach’s latest campaign;
how was that experience? Did you guys start a group chat?
Beck: I wish! We actually didn’t shoot the same
day, with all of our busy schedules, it was hard to find a day for
us all to come together, but I have had the honor of meeting Megan
before, and her energy is so high just being in her presence and on
the same screen as both of them is truly an honor.
GRAZIA: What has been the highlight of your
fashion week so far?
Beck: I just got here! I was at the Super Bowl
last night, I had to leave late third quarter to catch a flight to
come here. I took a red-eye and got in a 4 a.m., and here I am!
GRAZIA: What team were you rooting for?
Beck: Honestly, I just wanted to see a good game.
I’m from Arizona, so I’m a Cardinals fan, but yeah, it was a close
one!
GRAZIA: Who’s your dream front-row seat
neighbor?
Beck: Okay, so first, I’m going with someone I
just personally would love talking to, my man Neymar, he’s an idol
of mine, and I know he loves fashion week and soccer. For the
second seat, def Harry Styles, he’s huge into fashion, but I never
really see him at fashion week. He’s a fashion icon and a big
inspiration to me.
GRAZIA: You’ve conquered TikTok, what’s
next?
Beck: High praise there, thank you so much!
There’s a way to go, but I know social media won’t last forever, if
it does amazing, but in the meantime, I want to pivot into other
things. I love fashion, it’s always been something I’ve been
interested in. It’s opened a lot of doors for me. I really want to
start acting this year. Maybe I’m already attached to something,
but I don’t know; you’re going to have to keep an eye out. You guys
are used to seeing me on the tiny phone screen; it might be time
for the big screen.
GRAZIA: I heard you have a pretty extensive
skincare routine; what are some products you can’t live
without?
Beck: I tried to simplify it down a bit with
traveling and everything but three things I can’t live without are
definitely the La Mer crème moisturizer, Dior beauty serum, and I enjoy a good
exfoliant; my go-to is one from Lancer.
