Listen… Do you hear that? It’s just the sound of basically everyone dropping new music today! It seems the entire music industry collectively decided we all need to update our summer playlists. The result is a slew of new tracks out today to take us into the weekend. Here’s what we’re listening to:

First up, we’ve got Megan Thee Stallion’s “Thot Sh-t.” The Grammy-winning rapper teased her new single earlier this week and it is everything and more: fast-paced, big beat and a healthy dose of social commentary. The video finds Megan’s alter ego Tina Snow and an army of essential women giving a sh*t posting conservative senator what he deserves — and sounding damn good while they’re at it.

What else do you need to know? Oh, just that Doja Cat is back! Well, I say “back,” but the truth is she’s out of this world, delivering a new futuristic, intergalactic sounds from Planet Her, her new album out June 25. The video for “Need to Know” is giving us big Fifth Element energy, and with tracks featuring collabs with the Weeknd, Ariana Grande, J.I.D, and Young Thug expected on the new album, the future looks bright!

Speaking of bright, Jessie J’s new offering is a solar flare of deep, gut-punch piano, crunchy guitar licks and a thundering disco beat. But don’t take our word for it. Here’s what the artist herself has to say about “I Want Love”: “I wanted to come back with a song that felt classic but modern. BIG vocals and get everyone on the dance floor. I cannot wait for the world to hear this song and to DANCE and sing along loud.” You heard the lady!

You want gay neo-disco, you go to Jake Shears. The former Scissor Sisters frontman’s new track, “Do the Television,” follows February’s “Meltdown,” and if you thought that song was “too damn hot” wait till you hear the new one. “Do the Television” is a funkdafied joyride destined to launch a thousand Pride floats this summer. Who knows what “do the television” is actually supposed to mean, but also, who cares?

Ok, gird your loins, children. The latest “reimagined” track from Lady Gaga’s tenth anniversary edition of her landmark 2011 album Born This Way is the biggest yet. One word: Kylie. (You know, as in Minogue.) The Australian pop icon takes Mother Monster’s industrial-tinged original and dials up the funk. Yes, more fabulous disco for Pride month. You were hoping for something else? For real, we may have reached the gay singularity here.

Of course, every party weekend needs a chillout Sunday. Gentle acoustic guitar, silky smooth vocals like a warm summer breeze. Lorde has us covered with her effortlessly gorgeous comeback single “Solar Power.” We hope you’re someplace sunny when you hear this. If not, close your eyes and you will be!
