What’s better than one of your favorite artists dropping a new single? Two new singles. Rap artists Megan Thee Stallion and Doja Cat both announced their latest addition to their discography is set to be released Friday, June 11, and fans are living for it. Megan and Doja, who were featured together on Ariana Grande’s “34+35” remix announced this week they’d both respectively be dropping music. Megan — who has been on a short hiatus — teased early this week with a “Tina Snow” reload. In the clip, a lab assistant confirms that all of Meg’s vital signs — including her mental health, body, confidence, and notorious knees — were functioning at 100%.

Channeling her alter-ego Tina Snow — which doubles as the title of her 2018 EP — Megan announced her latest work is titled “Thot Sh*t” and is poised to be the anthem to a season of lawless female fun and freedom. “It celebrates women unapologetically enjoying themselves, doing whatever they want, whenever they want, regardless of what the critics have to say,” the press release reads. “3 MORE DAYS,” The 26-year-old tweeted to her 6.2 million followers Wednesday, June 9. Megan’s sabbatical was extremely crucial. The artist even noted that during her time away she was “Getting my mind right, writing, working.” Megan Thee Stallion’s “Thot Sh*t” is available for pre-save on streaming services such as Spotify, Apple, and Tidal.

Moreover, Doja Cat released a futuristic teaser for her upcoming single, “Need to Know” on Tuesday, June 8. Fans suspected this is the latest single off of her forthcoming album Planet Her, but in true Doja fashion, she denied it. The 25-year-old tweeted: “‘Need to Know’ isn’t even the next single, it’s just some sh*t before the next more important single comes out for you to enjoy.” The brief visual features the title in metallic font flying over a gleaming city, before zooming in for a glimpse into a room with a silver statue of a female torso and a shot of a woman with long red nails playing video games while wearing a shirt with the singer’s name on it in a NASA-like font. Doja Cat recently performed her hit single “Kiss Me More” alongside artist SZA at the 2021 Billboard Music Awards. She’s also making her acting credit in popular comedic rapper Lil Dicky’s show Dave on FX. From the trailer, it seems Doja will be the newest love interest in the opening of the show’s second season. It premieres Wednesday, June 16.
