Congratulations are in order for the future Mr. and Mrs. Bongiovi!
Millie Bobby Brown and her fiancé Jake Bongiovi celebrated their engagement with an intimate party on Thursday. Brown’s hairstylist Pete Burkill shared an inside glimpse of the festivities in a series of Instagram photos showcasing the happy couple.
The pair posed in front of a decorative display arch of white balloons formed in the shape of a heart around a neon sign that spelled out “Mr. and Mrs. Bongiovi.” Brown opted for an ivory lace Giambattista Valli set, including a scoop-neck cropped bra top with gold threading and lace motif along the border, teamed with a matching pencil skirt with gold button-down detailing.
Styling her brunette strands down in loose waves, Burkill ran down how he achieved her effortlessly glam hair style in the caption. He used Foxy Locks Hair Extensions in the shade cocoa and Got 2b GLUED Blasting Freeze Hairspray to “secure and hold the finished look.” He also used the brand’s now-discontinued Smooth Operator to make her hair “super silky.
On Bongiovi, Burkill utilized the Got 2b GLUED Water-Resistant Spiking Gel for “an ultra-strong hold.” Bongiovi sported a green double-breasted suit over a white dress shirt and a gray belt for the occasion.
Bongiovi, 21, and Brown, 19, announced their engagement in April. Brown posted a photo of her and Bongiovi, 20, on the beach both smiling from ear to ear. Bongiovi had his arms around her as she showed off a square-cut diamond ring.
The Enola Holmes star captioned her Instagram post, “I’ve loved you three summers now, honey, I want ’em all 🤍” The quote is a lyric from Taylor Swift‘s song, “Lover,” and seems to all but confirm the two are ready to tie the knot.
Simultaneously, Bongiovi posted another snap from their beachside photo opp, as well as one with the two staring lovingly at one another, with the caption, “Forever 🤍.”
Brown wore a bridal white look for the special moment, posing in a lace long-sleeve dress with frilly sleeves teamed with pearl drop earrings and a metallic manicure.
They took their romance public in June 2021 when they posted a selfie on Instagram, then they escalated things when they shared a snap kissing in November of that year. They went red carpet-official at the 2022 BAFTA Awards.
