Megan Fox and Machine Gun Kelly’s relationship has been the subject of much speculation ever since Super Bowl weekend when Fox’s Instagram behavior seemed to suggest they’d either had a huge fight and the rapper was in the dog house in a big way, or they were broken up completely.

Since then, neither party has spoken publicly about what happened — other than Fox confirming that there was no cheating — but the actress has been spotted without her engagement ring, including at the Vanity Fair Oscars afterparty, hinting at things still not being peachy between the “twin flames.”

Now, we have an update. According to a source, the pair are currently “on a break” and have hit the pause button on wedding planning. Us Weekly reports Fox and Kelly “are still in contact,” but things are “very hot and cold.”

A source told the outlet, “They have stalled wedding planning to work on their issues,” adding that their relationship has become “pretty volatile.” “They are currently off, but still texting each other,” they continued.

Last week, MGK performed in Houston, during which he suggested moving to Texas because his life “is in shambles,” the Houston Chronicle reported.

Previously, Page Six reported the pair were holding daily therapy sessions over Zoom to try to fix their relationship. Entertainment Tonight  added “they have a lot to work out before they can think about moving forward together as partners. MGK really loves Megan, and he is hopeful that they can get to a better place and be happy together. He knows he is going to have to go above and beyond to reconcile things with her.”

Here’s hoping they can work it out because Fox in a wedding dress and the, no doubt, emo-goth wedding to rival the Kardashian-Barkers is something we all need and deserve.
