On August 19, Louis Vuitton revived its gorgeous Empreinte Fine Jewelry line. The original collection debuted in 2004 as an ode to the French maison’s emblematic codes. Now, the Artistic Director of Jewelry and Watches for Louis Vuitton, Francesca Amfitheatrof, brought the collection back, retaining the history of the house in new iterations for a modern age.

Elements of Louis Vuitton’s past is at the root of the collection. Interlaced rings and bracelets symbolize romance and call to mind the leather straps used on the maison’s iconic luggage. Trunk studs, Monogram Flowers and the legendary LV initials (designed by Georges Vuitton in 1896) are also etched into the 18-karat yellow, white or pink gold pieces.

Available for both men and women, the collection features rings, bracelets, earrings (including hoops and diamond-studded pink gold ear cuffs), plus necklaces, which comes in a long style that transforms into a bracelet or stacked necklace.

The combination of tried and true designs mixed with edgier, modern pieces is just the combo that makes the collection both eye-catching and timeless.

The Empreinte Fine Jewelry drop comes after Louis Vuitton celebrated its bicentennial birthday last year. The festivities have continued into 2022, including an exhibit at a stunning private residence on Shelter Island that you can soon read about in the upcoming GRAZIA Gazette: Hamptons
