Lizzo did it up in style, celebrating her birthday last weekend in Las Vegas. To recap, Lizzo flew in on a private jet, drank lattes outside on the balcony, did her signature dance by the pool with champagne (of course). The confetti was flowing all weekend and when she finally left Las Vegas (once again on a private jet), she was decked out in a full Balmain look, complete with a full Balmain luggage set. Wow, can you say absolute luxury? Tauruses are known for treating themselves and for their taste so this kind of carrying on is very on brand — and this may or may not be coming from a Taurus.

We love Lizzo not only for her sheer beauty — she’s drop dead gorgeous — but for her charismatic personality, entertaining Instagram antics, and her discography. But mostly, we love the way she is putting a fire to the industry’s feet. The fashion industry has a long, complicated relationship with body diversity and size inclusion but Lizzo has used her platform to shine a light on body positivity and diversity since the beginning of her career. Her very existence, taking up space in the entertainment and fashion industries while wearing custom couture pushes the industry to catch up. Now there’s still work today, obviously, but seeing Lizzo decked out in all of her birthday glory is something we need to discuss. We’ve already covered that iconic birthday group photo, so let’s get into the rest of the looks.

Roberto Cavalli

Lizzo looks simply stunning in this mullet dress from Roberto Cavalli fall/winter 2021, which happens to be the first collection by creative consultant Fausto Puglisi.

And the Roberto Cavalli looks didn’t stop there! Look at this custom swimsuit!

Jean Paul Gaultier

She also wore a Jean Paul Gaultier custom vintage dress, originally from his spring/summer 1996 “Cyberbaba” collection. Her body looks amazing.

Balmain

Now this is how you close out an epic birthday celebration: Wearing a trench coat and carrying several pieces of matching luggage from the fall/winter 2021 Balmain show.
