We love to see it! Lily Collins and Ashley Park — who play Emily Cooper and Mindy Chen, respectively, on Emily in Paris — are besties in the Netflix series and IRL.

The two met while filming the series in the City of Light, and from there, their bond blossomed.

“Ashley’s a friend who makes you feel like being you is enough. She gives you what you need when you don’t even know it yourself,” Collins, 32, gushed to Glamour U.K.

For her part, the Broadway alum, 30, said, “Lily has made sure that I understand my own value … she has believed in me in ways I didn’t believe I deserved.”

It’s not always easy to connect with someone later on in life, so Collins counts her blessings that Park is a constant in her world. “Ashley can lift you up in moments when you need it, and yet she can come right back down and be grounded in moments when you didn’t know you to be quiet and sit,” she explained. “It’s such an amazing experience to meet someone as an adult, when you’re an adult, and gravitate towards them so strongly, like a friendship soulmate. Ashley makes me not question and doubt who I am now.”

Meanwhile, Park — who has now amassed over 1 million followers on Instagram — obviously knew who Collins was, which is why she is still in awe of how far she has come in a short amount of time.

“You think that I thought a few years ago that I’d be doing a GLAMOUR cover shoot with Lily effing Collins?! No! Are you dead serious right now?!” she exclaimed. “There is no scene partner, leading lady, friend-like sister who is as supportive as Lily.”

The California native reminisced about their adventures when they first started filming and how fans loved seeing them together. “Me and Lily, if we ever had a day off, we’d wander the streets together,” she shared. “But what was so funny to us, is we were sitting in the Tuileries Gardens, just catching up on everything – and we had masks and sunglasses on – and we just kept on getting recognized! And what was so sweet, was that it wasn’t even what we thought the demographic of our show was. We were so happy that they were so enthusiastic about it, but also just middle-aged men came up and were like, ‘Oh, it’s you guys.’ Not a single person came up to us with a negative response.”
