Shimmering in silver Balenciaga, Kim Kardashian attended the White House Correspondents’ Association Dinner alongside her Saturday Night Live comedian boyfriend Pete Davidson on Saturday — and it marked their official red carpet debut.
While Davidson accompanied Kardashian to the premiere of her new Hulu reality show The Kardashians last month, the pair did not walk the carpet with one another. Having just attended the Mark Twain Prize Ceremony at the Kennedy Center in Washington D.C. just last week, the two are taking on Washington once again.
For the occasion, Kardashian donned a second-skin, glittering silver Balenciaga Couture mock neck gown, designed by Demna and styled by Danielle Levi. With her brunette tresses styled by Chris Appleton, Kardashian brought dampened mermaid locks to the carpet.
Davidson kept this look a little more casual pairing his Prada black suit and a skinny tie with sunglasses and a pair of Vans, styled by Britt Theodora.
The Washington D.C. dinner pays homage to the efforts of White House journalists and the media. Hosted by comedian Trevor Noah, President Joe Biden, First Lady Dr. Jill Biden, Ziwe Fumudoh, Martha Stewart (with whom the couple posed for pictures), Billy Eichner, Judith Light, and Brooke Shields were also in attendance, along with cabinet secretaries and lawmakers.
Stewart posted images of herself and the happy couple on Instagram and praised Davidson writing, “Pete is all grown up, squiring gorgeous women around and appearing everywhere!”
Posting a carousel of photos to her Instagram, Kardashian captioned her post, “White House din din,” and shared pictures walking down a hallway with Davidson holding hands.
With the Met Gala taking place tonight in New York City, we hope the couple continues their red carpet reign walking the Metropolitan Museum of Art stairs together.
