CANNES, FRANCE: Like clockwork, every day at about 4 p.m., the rain (which is forecast all week) ceases. It’s as though the cinema Gods understand the value of good hair at the photographer-flanked 76^th Cannes Film Festival red carpet. But just in case Mother Nature had other pans, Irina Shayk slicked her hair down. Fly-aways, begone! Frizziness — don’t know her.

The 37-year-old model attended the premiere of the Martin Scorsese-directed film Killers of the Flower Moon. Starring Leonardo DiCaprio, Lily Gladstone and Robert Dinero, the three-hour and 26-minute drama is set in the 1920s and follows FBI agents sent to investigate the murders of members of the Osage Native American tribe in Oklahoma.

In a plunging, deep cobalt blue gown with tiered tulle ruffling, Shayk — who was seen getting close to DiCaprio, 48, at Coachella in April — floated atop the red carpet at the Grand Lumière Theatre in Cannes. She was joined by a stellar line-up of models including Alexa Chung, Naomi Campbell, Grace Elizabeth, Sara Sampaio, Alessandra Ambrosio, Adriana Limaand DiCaprio’s ex-girlfriend Lorena Rae. (It wouldn’t be a DiCaprio screening without the models, would it?)
