Khloé Kardashian has revisited the Tristan Thompson scandal that saw her relationship come to a crashing end in 2019, after he was caught cheating with former family friend, Jordyn Woods. On Instagram this week, a user asked Kardashian if sister Kylie Jenner could continue her friendship with Woods. She immediately clapped back.
“I’m so sick and tired of this narrative that I control my sister or I dictate who she chooses to surround herself with,” Kardashian wrote, as captured by @commentsbycelebs. She continued, “She is an adult who can do whatever she wants to do. I will support her in anything and everything she wants to do!”
“By the way, I have no ill feelings towards ANYONE!!!”
It’s no wonder the reality television star wants to move on. Kardashian and Thompson got back together in June 2020 during lockdown when they were self-isolating with daughter, True, 2.
“She loves having him around. He has the best relationship with True,” a source told People. “And he has been amazing to Khloé too. They are very much together and Khloé is beyond happy.”
“Khloé and Tristan still want to give True a sibling. It’s a big priority for both of them,” a source more recently told the publication. “They really want it to work out.”
We can only hope the happy couple stay happy. The breakup and subsequent publicity surrounding the Kardashians and Woods was messy, to say the least.
“If you’re going to try and save yourself by going public, INSTEAD OF CALLING ME PRIVATELY TO APOLOGIZE FIRST, at least be HONEST about your story. BTW, You ARE the reason my family broke up!” Kardashian tweeted off the back of Woods’ Red Table talk with Jada Pinkett Smith in early 2019.
In light of these recent events, maybe we will see Woods and Jenner in our social media feeds sporting matching looks once again.
