Kanye West’s first public listening party for his tribute opus DONDA welcomed the enigmatic star back into the spotlight, riling up his base for the premiere of an album that still hasn’t materialized. Presumably leaning into his propensity for sonic perfection, Ye opted to extend his stay at the Altanta Mercedes-Benz Stadium to put the final touches on the project. Now, after refusing to appease his fans and debut his album once again, he is search for another location for what is hopefully the last revisions.

According to Dazed, the news of West’s relocation came from KayCyy, a rapper and collaborator on the forthcoming album. “We’re moving to another stadium,” KayCyy wrote in a now-deleted tweet. As of late, we are unsure which stadium he selected in Atlanta — State Farm Arena, Truist Park and Russ Chandler Stadium — or if he’ll traverse to another city for the album’s completion. For now, we’ll keep our eye out for his red puffer coat and nude stockinged masks combination or his novel full body latex Balenciaga body suit from his second listening event.

After making the Mercedes-Benz Stadium his hybrid home-studio, West’s follow-up listening event starkly contrasted the first with its grand theatrics. The performance was curated more extensively with Balenciaga’s Demna Gvasalia overseeing the creative art direction. To conclude the show, the Heartless rapper rose into the heavens for his exit — an assumed nod to his Yeezus alter ego. However, despite the upped antics, fans unanimously raved over the intimate disclosure of West’s personal life in the never-before-heard lyrics.

As his estranged wife Kim Kardashian looked on, West expressed his desperation for reconciliation, rapping “I’m losing all my family/Darling come back to me.” In another song that delivers a glimpse into the imminent era, he rhymes, “Time and space is a luxury/But you came here to show that you’re still in love with me.” With Apple Music slating the DONDA premiere for August 15, West’s fans are anxiously awaiting to hear more of his revelations in the near future.
