Jessica Simpson is stepping out in New York City and reminding everyone of her status as a style star. The singer and designer is promoting the latest assortment for her label Jessica Simpson Collection, and packed plenty of looks for the occasion.
The star landed in Manhattan wearing a slouchy Kajal Goel Kelly green cropped cardigan and Unravel Project lace-up black leather pants and platform Versace boots. She completed her look with tons of jewelry, layering necklaces and bracelets, wearing a dazzling assortment of rings, large hoop earrings, and topping it all off with a pair of aviator sunglasses.
On Wednesday, Simpson sported three looks in one day. The Open Book author showed off her first outfit on social media wearing a brown corseted Elisabetta Franchi minidress with black Ferragamo shield sunglasses, knee-high Versace boots and a gold handbag.
Then, the star sported a black Maria Lucia Hohan leather one-shoulder floor-length pleated gown, styled by Natalie Saidi. The “I Wanna Love You Forever” singer accessorized with layered Jacquie Aiche diamond necklaces, including a cross pendant, large gold drop earrings, stacks of bracelets on each wrist and plenty of rings while carrying a black-and-white striped clutch.
Simpson styled her platinum blonde tresses in long voluminous waves with a middle-part, maintaining a luminescent complexion, mile-long lashes and a glossy lip.
She commemorated the outfit on Instagram, captioning the post with lyrics from folk music legend Bob Dylan’s song “Lay, Lady, Lay.” “Whatever colors you have in your mind, I’ll show them to you and you’ll see them shine. -Bob Dylan,” she wrote.
The songstress made one last outing of the evening, wearing a beige cutout long-sleeve ruched minidress, with strappy metallic gold sky-high platform heels and a gold sequined handbag.
Simpson opened up to People about her design process ahead of her latest launch, including summery blouses, dresses, denim staples and new shoes. “I find design inspiration everywhere,” she told the publication. “It will literally be in my dreams and I wake up scrambling to write it down.”
