We couldn’t think of a place more romantic to spend time after tying the knot than the City of Lights. Less than a week after Jennifer Lopez and Ben Affleck said “I do” at A Little White Wedding Chapel in Las Vegas, they were spotted in Paris enjoying their post-wedded bliss (and packing on the PDA).
In new photos, Lopez and Affleck were photographed sitting on a bench together were they cuddled and kissed, before Affleck took some snaps of his bride while walking hand-in-hand.
It was also reported that they went to the upscale restaurant Le Matignon for dinner Thursday night and were joined by two of Affleck’s children whom he shares with ex-wife Jennifer Garner, Violet, 16, and Seraphina, 13 (they also share son Samuel, 10). For the outing, Lopez chose a fire engine red plunging maxi dress, while Affleck sported a suit and tie.
The romantic getaway comes after they had a whirlwind wedding in Las Vegas late Saturday night. “Last night we flew to Vegas, stood in line for a license with four other couples, all making the same journey to the wedding capital of the world,” Lopez wrote of their July 16 nuptials on her blog, On the JLo. “We barely made it to the little white wedding chapel by midnight. They graciously stayed open late a few minutes, let us take pictures in a pink Cadillac convertible, evidently once used by the king himself (but if we wanted Elvis himself to show, that cost extra and he was in bed).”
The two also reached for items already in their closet for the big day. Lopez wore a “dress from an old movie” and Affleck chose a white jacket which he already owned. In photos shared with the post, Lopez wore two looks: a sleeveless A-line white dress, and a second off-the-shoulder long-sleeve white lace wedding dress from Zuhair Murad with a sweetheart-style neckline and corset bodice.
The wedding was a long time coming after the two initially got engaged in 2002 and were set to wed in September 2003, before postponing their nuptials. They later ended their engagement in January 2004, but remained friends through the years. The two sent the internet spiraling in July 2021 when they went Instagram official in a series of photos commemorating the singer’s 52nd birthday on board a yacht.
PEOPLE shared photos from their romantic stroll in Paris, as sources told the outlet they were cuddling up at the park for two hours. “They were like two teens on a park bench — very loving, very attentive,” the source told the outlet. “There weren’t a lot of people that time of the morning and they weren’t distracted. It was just them.”
Next for the pair? They’re planning to have a wedding reception at Affleck’s Georgia mansion (which was supposed to be the location of their first wedding in 2003, according to OK!).
They’re clearly still very much in the honeymoon phase!
