Over the weekend, Jennifer Lopez gave fans a glimpse into her rekindled relationship with fiancé Ben Affleck in a video featuring candid moments between the couple in a sweet Father’s Day tribute.
In the clip, the superstar shared a few intimate moments of the couples’ lives, starting with a sweet video that Lopez filmed as Affleck drove a car and she beamed into the camera. Another selfie showed Lopez planting a kiss on Affleck’s cheek. There was also a clip of the couple embracing on board a yacht during her 52nd birthday last year and another boat-mance moments that appeared to be when the couple filmed the 2022 “Jenny from the Block” music video when they first dated before calling it quits in 2004.
“Happy Father’s Day to the most caring, loving, affectionate, consistent and selfless Daddy ever. #HappyFathersDay my love,” Lopez captioned the video, pointing fans to her OnTheJLo.com blog.
In a voice over, she declares this phase the “best time” of her life. Adding, “I love my career but nothing is more fulfilling to me than being able to build a family with someone who I love deeply and who is just as dedicated to family and to each other as we can be. I feel incredible blessed.”
She also wished her father, David Lopez, a Happy Father’s Day with a series of photos together over the years calling him the “best daddy ever.”
Notably, the singer didn’t share a tribute to her ex-husband, Marc Anthony, who is the father of their twins Emme and Max, 14. The singer also didn’t post anything Father’s Day-related on his Instagram.
In May, Anthony, 53, announced his engagement to 23-year-old former Miss Universe, Nadia Ferreira. He was married to Lopez from 2004 to 2011, and their divorce was finalized in 2014.
The two co-parent their twins, while Affleck (who was engaged to Lopez from 2002-2004) shares three children with his ex, Jennifer Garner, Violet, 16, Seraphina, 13 and Samuel, 10.
In 2021, both Affleck and Lopez rekindled their romance after ending their most recent relationships with Ana de Armas and Alex Rodriguez, respectively. They went Instagram official in July and were engaged in September 2021.
Just last week, Rodriguez was spotted kissing 25-year-old model Kathryne Padgett on a vacation in Italy and according to a source for ET, Lopez “doesn’t even think twice about A-Rod or his current love life.”
The source said Lopez “wishes [Alex] the best, but it’s not something that bothers her or takes up space in her mind whatsoever. She just wants everyone to be happy, whatever that might entail.”
They added, “A-Rod is 100 percent at the back of her mind, and his dating life doesn’t faze her.”
