Jennifer Lawrence proved sheer is here to stay at the London premiere of her new film No Hard Feelings held at the Odeon Luxe Leicester Square on Monday afternoon. As a brand ambassador for Dior since 2012, Lawrence wore an embellished black gown from the French fashion house’s Fall/Winter 2023 ready-to-wear collection, featuring a semi-sheer high neck sleeveless top with a visible strapless black bra underneath.
With dainty floral beaded appliqué emblazoned throughout, the gown was tied with a thin black patent leather belt at the waist. The Academy Award-winning actress teamed her look with black pointy-toe pumps and black opera gloves.
The Don’t Look Up star accessorized with Ana Khouri jewels on the red carpet, including the Diamond Phillipa Ear Cuff, with her honey blonde hair slicked back into a high ponytail. Lawrence rocked a soft smokey cat eye and a glossy berry lip.
While in London, Lawrence was seen in another can’t-miss look leaving a Chicken Shop interview with Amelia Dimoldenberg. The star embodied stealth wealth in a light gray asymmetrical top with matching flared trousers, which she teamed with a Tiffany & Co. Elsa Peretti Sevillana red lacquer pendant necklace, black sunglasses, a black clutch and strappy black heels. Lawrence wore her blonde locks down with a middle part in a wispy blowout.
In No Hard Feelings, Lawrence stars as Maddie, a young woman on the brink of losing her childhood home. When she discovers an interesting job listing in the paper, Maddie meets a couple of wealthy helicopter parents looking for someone to “date” their son Percy (Andrew Barth Feldman) before he heads off to college.
It marks her first film since becoming a mother (she welcomed her son Cy with her art gallerist husband Cooke Maroney in February 2022). “I had just had a baby, so I definitely wasn’t planning on working, [but] I read the script and it was just too funny. It was the funniest thing I had ever read,” Lawrence told Good Morning America.
The Oscar winner will star alongside, Feldman, Hasan Minhaj, Ebon Moss-Bachrach, Matthew Broderick, Natalie Morales and Laura Benanti in the Gene Stupnitsky-directed feature based on a real Craigslist ad.
No Hard Feelings hits theaters June 23, 2023.
