In her typical Y2K-inspired fashion, Olivia Rodrigo brought her signature edgy flair to the 2022 Grammy Awards red carpet in a punk-princess ensemble. She fittingly chose a gown from the reigning queen of punk fashion, Vivienne Westwood, in a black off-the-shoulder form-fitting gown embellished with shimmering silver and pink gems.
Teaming up her look with wavy locks, and a pair of black opera gloves, Rodrigo amped the glamor up a notch with not one, but two stacked chokers to match her gown’s pink beading.
The top choker featured a black ribbon with similar ombré pink beading that’s on the gown, while the second was a pink stunner from Swarovski Crystal (which is currently available to buy here). Adding another sprinkle of shine, the “Driver’s License” singer topped her opera gloves with a matching pink Swarovski cocktail ring.
“We wanted to do something fun and young but also, we’re at the Grammys; it’s glamorous, it’s classy,” the singer told E! Live from the Red Carpet of her look.
Nominated for a whopping seven Grammys tonight, Rodrigo is slated to follow in the impressive footprints of her fellow nominee Billie Eilish. The Sour artist is one of the youngest musicians to be nominated for album of the year, song of the year, record of the year, and best new artist.
