The biggest stars across music’s many genres gathered in Las Vegas to celebrate the 2022 Grammy Awards, and just like in year’s past, the styles are a sight to see. The Grammys red carpet has become known as a place for high-fashion moments and stop-and-stare styles, and celebrities brought a medley of both tonight. From Chrissy Teigen’s bold ballgown, to Jon Batiste’s standout suit and Doja Cat’s on-theme accessory, attendees have not disappointed. Check out every must-see moment from the red carpet, below.
Dua Lipa
Dua went blonde for the big night, teaming her Versace black dress with sheer chain-adorned bodice (inspired by the brand’s 1992 “Miss S&M” collection), with layers of gold necklaces and matching bracelets.
Chloe Bailey
Chloe Bailey sparkled from every angle in her metallic disco ball-esque Valentino gown with matching cape. Adding even more shimmer, she shined in Tiffany & Co. diamond earrings and rings.
Olivia Rodrigo
Keeping with her signature aesthetic, the best new artist nominee accessorized her black Vivienne Westwood gown featuring sparkly pink accents with not one but two choker necklaces (the pink is from Swarovski Crystal) and opera gloves topped with a Swarovski Crystal pink ring.
Saweetie
The rapper sported hot pink in her custom Valentino look, with bow-adorned bra top and high-waisted A-line skirt, topped with matching gloves.
Lady Gaga
Leave it to Lady Gaga to bring Old Hollywood glam to the Grammys in her custom Giorgio Armani Privé curve-hugging one-shoulder ballgown with side-sweeping white train that wrapped around the column skirt. She wore her hair in an elaborate updo, and accessorized with Tiffany & Co. wearing an 18-carat necklace with morganites and diamonds and 18-carat earrings with purple spinels and diamonds.
Lenny Kravitz
Lenny brought his on-stage rocker aesthetic to the carpet in his chainmail tank, leather pants, long chain necklaces and black boots.
Hailey Baldwin Bieber
The model kept things simple in her strapless silk Saint Laurent gown, paired with two Tiffany & Co. Elsa Peretti necklaces, matching drop earrings and T1 ring.
Jon Batiste
There was no missing the most nominated singer of the night (he’s up for 10 awards!) in his eye-catching printed yellow and silver checkered Dolce & Gabbana suit, paired with Boucheron jewels.
Doja Cat
The singer, up for eight nominations tonight including record of the year, album of the year and song of the year, paired her crystal-covered Versace sheer blue gown with matching must-see accessories, including Versace platform heels, jewels by Samer Halimeh, D’Orazio and Jacob & Co., with a funky fun speaker handbag from JBL, Vincent Michael and Heven.
H.E.R.
Tied with Justin Bieber and Doja Cat with eight nominations, H.E.R. paid tribute to the Queen of Soul with her custom Dundas caftan jumpsuit embellished with gold beads and sequin phoenix motif. “I was actually inspired by Aretha Franklin tonight,” H.E.R. told E! on the carpet. “It was one of her iconic looks to me, and I just loved it so much and she’s an icon.”
Halsey
Halsey’s stylist, Law Roach, reached into his own fashion archive for her Pierre Cardin hat, worn with a Pressiat look featuring a brown belted bustier top and slouchy, ruched black skirt, paired with Tiffany & Co. jewelry.
Lil Nas X
“I wanted to give everybody a Balmain look,” the rapper said on E! Live from the Red Carpet. He sported a beaded, butterfly-accented white jacket and matching pants, accessorized with diamond earrings and ultra, ultra high platform boots.
Billy Porter
Straight from the Valentino runway, Porter popped in his pink sheer shirtdress with ruffle accents. “Well the color of the season, I hear, is fuchsia, and Valentino sent this over for me to wear from the runway. So, you have to say yes to that,” Porter said on E! Live from the Red Carpet.
Megan Thee Stallion
Like many other superstars at past Grammys red carpets, the rapper rocked animal print in her asymmetrical Roberto Cavalli gown with ultra-high slit.
Giveon
The Grammy nominee wore a custom Chanel “sequin fantasy” tweed bomber jacket and matching tweed pants, with three Chanel Fine Jewelry diamond and pearl necklaces and an 18-carat gold and diamond ring.
Rachel Zegler
The West Side Story actress told E! she’s embracing her “femininity” in her custom Dior Haute Couture princess-style A-line tulle gown, paired with Tiffany & Co. jewelry. “I’m really really happy with it,” she added.
Leon Bridges
The singer shined in his white cropped suit jacket with matching flared pants, featuring gold and silver floral and leaf embroidery, which continued down to his matching boots.
Cynthia Erivo
Erivo said her ruched silver Louis Vuitton gown with high-shine metallic sleeves (paired with Boucheron diamonds) “felt like armor, which I really love.” Adding, “There’s like a power in it.”
Chrissy Teigen
The star picked a bold pink, voluminous strapless Nicole + Felicia Couture ballgown with ruffled accents at the bodice and skirt, paired with statement drop earrings. (Anyone else having flashbacks from Rihanna’s 2015 Giambattista Valli Haute Couture confection?)
Brandi Carlile
The singer said she felt “like a boss” in her embellished Hugo Boss suit, with matching sequins down the leg and the waist band. “The jacket’s about 40 pounds and I don’t think I’ve ever felt more glamorous, she told E! Adding, “I’m finally morphing into Elton John, which was my dream from day one.”
Tiffany Haddish
The comedian packed on the shine in her embellished custom Prada gown with attached train, paired with Norman Silverman jewels.
St. Vincent
Wearing the color of the night, St. Vincent chose a pink Gucci Love Parade sequin silk gown with pink organza ruffle trimmed hem and cuffs.
