Olivia Rodrigo, Ciara and More Step Out in Show-Worthy Fashion to Celebrate Women in Music
Hosted by Ciara, the 2022 Billboard Women in Music Awards saw our favorite musicians pull out all the style stops, from Saweetie and Olivia Rodrigo to Tinashe and Doja Cat
Celebrating the leading ladies of the music industry, the 2022 Billboard Women in Music Awards took place last night at the YouTube Theatre at SoFi stadium in Inglewood, California. With well-deserved recipients and performances from the likes of Saweetie and Doja Cat, the night was filled to the brim with eye-catching and stage-worthy looks.
Hosted by “Level Up” singer Ciara, a lineup of A-listers were in attendance, including Phoebe Bridgers who took home the Trailblazer Award and Olivia Rodrigo was snagged the Woman of the Year Award. Powerhouse vocalist Christina Aguilera made in appearance in an Alberta Ferretti two-piece black leather suit, sans top to celebrate her appearance on Billboard’s World of Women NFT digital cover.
Other must-see looks came from Normani, who rocked a mirrored chocolate brown bodysuit and matching skirt with sky-high slit. Plus, both Doja Cat in Carolina Herrera Fall/ Winter 2022 and Tinashe in Christopher John Rogers’ collection 008 wore exciting silhouettes that made a splash on the pink carpet.
With many homages to mothers in inspiring acceptance speeches, and pledges to make the industry a better place for young women, the ceremony became a celebration of women’s empowerment and collective support within the music industry.
