Ever since Olivia Rodrigo burst into the celebrity scene with the release of her debut album, Sour, the 18-year-old has been one-to-watch in the style department for her playful and reimagined take on ’90s trends. One pairing that’s quickly become the teen’s signature is the mini skirt and knee-high boot combo, and it’s a look she’s keeping in 2022.
The singer attended the art exhibit, “Artists Inspired by Music: Interscope Reimagined” presented by the record company and LACMA in Los Angeles on January 26, wearing her go-to style. She chose a multicolor long-sleeve shrunken knit top over a white cutoff tank, with a high-waisted camo-print mini skirt and sky-high black platform boots with buckles up the front. The striped cardigan, “Demon Camo” skirt and “Kiki” boots were from Marc Jacobs’ “Heaven” SP22 collection.
After the event on Wednesday, Rodrigo shared a series of snaps on Instagram modeling her outfit while posing in an elevator captioning it with a string of emojis.
She previously wore the buckle boots in an Instagram post last June, pairing them with a plaid ’90s-inspired mini dress.
While we wait for more looks from Rodrigo in 2022, we hope her signature style is here to stay.
