Before the days of Euphoria, actress Hunter Schafer made a name for herself on the catwalk. Reviving her runway career for co-designers Miuccia Prada and Raf Simons, Schafer walked Prada’s Fall/Winter 2022 presentation alongside some of the best and the brightest of fashion, from Kendall Jenner and Anok Yai, to Kaia Gerber and Chu Wong.

Recently returning to the runway at New York Fashion Week, Schafer made a splash closing Gogo Graham’s Fall 2022 collection, having previously walked for designers like Marc Jacobs, Mugler, and Christian Dior in past seasons. Now, sinking her teeth into Milan Fashion Week, the actress looked right at home on the catwalk.

Taking to the runway in a plain white tank with Prada’s iconic triangle emblazoned at the bust, Schafer also wore an embellished midi skirt, featuring black, fuchsia, and sheer sequin panels.

In homage to the “history of women” and the “profession of modeling,” the Italian fashion house slated their presentation with a star-studded cast of It-girls. Posting childhood photos and home videos of the models on Prada’s Instagram page, the celebration felt intimate and powerful.

As the stampede of glamazons traipsed down the sci-fi inspired pink neon lit metal tunnel and onto the olive green carpeting in a zig-zag formation at the Fondazione Prada, recognizable faces graced the front row as well. Kim Kardashian was in attendance to watch her little sister Kendall Jenner sport the latest fashion-forward designs of Simons and Ms. Prada.

Opened by seasoned runway regular Kaia Gerber and closed by Schafer, the label’s signature eclectic pairings saw ensembles featuring classic basics alongside opulent feathers, intricate embroidery, delicate beading, and shockingly sheer fabrications.
