Stepping out for the London premiere of her upcoming film Ambulance, Eiza González revealed a surprise beauty transformation on Wednesday. Ditching her signature brunette locks for a sunny new ‘do, González showed off her freshly-dyed tresses, courtesy hair colorist John Clark, on the carpet. She styled her hair slicked back, and wore a marine blue crystal-adorned dress, plus matching blue diamond drop earrings and a statement red lip.
Seen with her previous dark strands one day prior, González attended the film’s Berlin premiere before switching up her look. The Baby Driver actress told On Demand Entertainment at the event, “I just hear that blondes have more fun, so I just had to do it!”
While in London, she also sported a full Fendi ensemble during her day of press, wearing a check bustier, shirt and skirt with her bright new hair. She showed off the look on Instagram writing, “Hi sunny London 💛 press day in @fendi ☀️.”
After a slew of celebrities have recently opted for auburn-colored locks, González joins another A-lister who opted to go bright: supermodel Gigi Hadid who has been sporting a bleached look lately.
Starring alongside Jake Gyllenhaal and Yahya Abdul-Mateen II, the Ambulance cast gathered at London’s Odeon Leicester Square in celebration of the film’s April 8 release. Directed by Transformers’ Michael Bay, the film chronicles two thieves who highjack an ambulance after the failure of one of their heists, based on the Danish film Ambulancen, directed by Laurits Munch-Petersen and Lars Andreas Pedersen in 2005.
Ambulance hits theaters on April 8.
