While everyone else seems to be dyeing their hair a fiery red hue, Dua Lipa and Gigi Hadid have both gone blonde. Well, temporarily for Lipa. As Hadid continues on her fashion month modeling streak showcasing updated locks, Lipa’s silver screen debut sees the “Levitating” singer with a new ‘do as well.
New stills from her forthcoming film Argylle were just released, showing a sneak peek at the pop star’s acting debut in the Matthew Vaughn-directed spy flick. Starring alongside Henry Cavill, Lipa appears as a dancing blonde bombshell, sporting a bright bob and a golden Versace-esque sequin cowl-neck frock.
With a starry cast including critically acclaimed actors Samuel L. Jackson, Sam Rockwell, Ariana DeBose, Catherine O’Hara and Bryan Cranston, the film is set to be released some time in 2023.
While Dua went blonde, Hadid went blonder. Sporting the lightest platinum locks we’ve seen on her yet, the top model stepped out in a black Burberry trench to attend the British fashion house’s Fall/Winter presentation. Worn with chic black sunglasses and a scarf from the brand, Hadid’s lightened brows completed her look.
This dramatic hair transformation comes days after Hadid had pledged to donate her fashion month earnings to support relief efforts in both Ukraine and Palestine. Taking to Instagram to announce her efforts Hadid said, “Having a set Fashion Month schedule has meant that my colleagues and I often present new fashion collections during heartbreaking and traumatic times in history. We don’t have control over most of our work schedules, but we would like to walk ‘for’ something.”
