Demi Lovato has revealed their new tattoo – and it is placed directly on top of their left hand.

The major new inking features lyrics from “Infinite Universe” by Beautiful Chorus — “love will live forever in the infinite universe” — and they are placed across the hand with stars, crescent moons, and planets inked around it.

“THANK YOU @_dr_woo_ for making exactly what I asked for!!! It’s perfect!!! Lyrics by @beautifulchorus,” Demi captioned the photo.

Demi has been grappling with sexuality the past year, after ending an engagement to actor Max Ehrich. Earlier in 2021 they revealed plans to shave their head “completely,” as part of a transformation into “living her truth.”

They later revealed they felt more comfortable with non-binary pronouns, and called on fans to use they/them.

The artist has been on a journey of reawakening in recent years, and in their 2021 documentary Demi Lovato: Dancing with the Devil, Demi candidly revealed they suffered a heart attack and three strokes in the year of 2018, a medical emergency which occurred during a near-fatal overdose.

While the 28-year-old artist had previously revealed details of their drug abuse problem in the past, the extent of the illness only came to light when they spoke candidly on camera.

“I had so much to say over the past two years, wanting to set the record straight about what it was that happened. Any time that you suppress a part of yourself, it’s gonna overflow,” they said.

“I crossed a line that I had never crossed before…I snapped,” they shared in the trailer. “I had three strokes. I had a heart attack. My doctors said that I had five to 10 more minutes [to live].”
