6 Of Our Favorite Fashion Show Set Designs From The Last
Decade
They're just as stunning as the collections themselves

We all love fashion shows. What’s not to
love about the glitterati in the front row, the gorgeous supermodels strutting down the
runway wearing the clothes we’ll be lusting after next season, the
popping soundtrack, the conceptual hair and makeup — and then
there’s the set. Much like in a movie or on a tv show, the set design of a
fashion show takes on a character all its own. The set design aids
in helping the garments tell the designer’s story season after
season. From massive working trains on stage — Louis Vuitton
Fall/Winter 2012 comes to mind, specifically — to holograms of
supermodels appearing out of then air — hello infamous
Kate Moss hologram at Alexander McQueen Fall/winter 2006 —fashion
set design is just as iconic as the clothes that walk its’
stage.
