Bella Hadid Freckles

It’s the day before Thanksgiving, and I’m thankful for Bella Hadid’s faux freckles. The 24-year-old supermodel showcased her side profile for her 35.6 million Instagram followers on Tuesday, November 24, giving fans a look at her voluminous lashes, strobe-y brow bone highlight, and most importantly: the adorable smattering of freckles on her cheeks and nose.

She donned a white tank top for the photos and accessorized the look with a flat gold snake chain necklace. The Washington, D.C. native wore her hair up in a messy bun with face-framing pieces in the front, clipped into place with white hair clips from The Ouai. These are seemingly out of stock, but Harry Josh’s social media-famous mint green ones are also a selfie-approved option.

To find out how to get the look at home, GRAZIA reached out to Freck Beauty founder Remi, who launched the world’s first freckle cosmetic, Freck OG, in May 2017. Faux freckle enthusiasts swear by the formula for realistic looking, long-lasting frecks.

Like us, Remi loves the model’s low-key glam. “Honestly, can Bella Hadid do any wrong?” she ponders during our email exchange. “My only critique for this application is that she’s got some tails hanging off her freckles, which is an obvious tell that freckles aren’t real.”

If you want to get a similar look at home, the first step is to get your hands on Freck OG. Then, “Apply your freckles and copy/paste them all over your face like this by tapping them out with the pad of your finger.” She suggests “lots of space between each tap” to get the most realistic-looking freckles.

“You can set Freck OG with powder if that’s your vibe, but you really don’t have to,” Remi explains. “Freck OG is a stain-based formula,” which means it shouldn’t budge, but powder will make sure they definitely don’t move.

Remi’s journey to launching Freck is as cool and unique as the product itself. “My background is in interior design, and I never thought I would be in beauty,” she tells us. “The path to launching Freck Beauty stems from a lifelong obsession with freckles. I’ve always wanted to put on freckles since I don’t have any of my own — even though everyone thought I was crazy. That was when people wanted to cover and hide their freckles.” The world is different now.
