Anya Taylor-Joy’s Best Outfits of 2021: Christian Dior Took The Star To New Heights
Making significant strides in her career this year, Anya Taylor-Joy looked fashionable every step of the way

The CFDA really hit the nail on its head when they dubbed Anya Taylor-Joy the Face of The Year for 2021. Saturating the media landscape, her Netflix miniseries The Queen’s Gambit swept awards season, garnering the young actress with a Critics’ Choice Award, a Screen Actor’s Guild Award, and a Golden Globe for her riveting performance as chess prodigy Beth Harmon.
With another retro period piece debuting this year, Taylor-Joy starred in Edgar Wright’s Last Night in Soho set in 1960s London. Clad in a voluminous bouffant and an exaggerated cat-eye of the mod-glam era, Taylor-Joy seems to embody a retro flair of her own, off the screen as well. Paired with her haunting beauty, waif-like figure, and mile long golden tresses, Anya Taylor-Joy often dresses the part of a vintage Barbie.
With styling from the legendary Law Roach and Paul Burgo, the star exudes elegance as the face of Dior, Tiffany & Co, and the Viktor and Rolf fragrance Flowerbomb. With a new project forthcoming, Robert Eggers’ The Northman sees Taylor-Joy alongside a star studded cast including Alexander Skarsgård, Nicole Kidman, Willem Dafoe and Björk, and is set to be released in April of 2022.
