Hollywood hunk George Clooney and his fashionable wife of eight years, lawyer Amal Clooney, made a stylish appearance in London for the world premiere of the actor’s new film Ticket to Paradise. The pair joined George’s costar in the romantic comedy, Julia Roberts, all dressed in high-fashion looks that deserve our attention.

With an appropriately tropical backdrop, Clooney posed alongside his two leading ladies in a navy blue three-piece suit worn sans tie, with an open collar white dress shirt underneath. Amal came dressed for the occasion, wearing a pastel mint green beaded slip dress, shimming heels, and a metallic gold clutch. The style star channeled Old Hollywood glamor with big, bouncy, side-swept curls, and a statement red lip. She added some bling to the ensemble with chandelier earrings and a diamond bracelet.

Roberts chose a custom-made Alexander McQueen gown for the event. The black gown featured hand-embroidered, personalized crystal graffiti motifs, with touching words and symbols emblazoned throughout. There’s the word “Hope,” hearts and arrows, her children’s initials, the years of their births, and more. She topped off the gown with a black, cropped silk tuxedo jacket.

Roberts and Clooney, who have appeared in multiple films with one another (think Ocean’s Eleven, Twelve, Thirteen, etc.), have produced and are set to lead the Ol Parker-directed rom-com. The film is set to hit theaters October 21, 2022.

Starring Kaitlyn Dever, Lucas Bravo, and Billie Lourd, as well, the story follows a divorced couple who joins forces and travels to Bali to stop their daughter from marrying someone she just met.

In an interview with the New York Timesthe co-stars shared a laugh over their kiss in the film, admitting that it took a long time to get it right, “like, six months.”

“Yeah. I told my wife, ‘It took 80 takes,’” Clooney told the publication. “She was like, ‘What the hell?’”

“It took 79 takes of us laughing and then the one take of us kissing,” Roberts added. Clooney responded, “Well, we had to get it right.”

The film marks a return to the rom-com genre for both Roberts and Clooney. “I haven’t succeeded like Julia has in that forum,” Clooney said, “but I read it and thought, ‘Well, if Jules is up for it, I think this could be fun.’”
