Welcome back to Moodboard Friday’s, our weekly cluster of things we’re currently obsessing over. This week there’s of course some art, a little red carpet moment we can’t get out of our heads, an angsty pop album we can’t turn off and fashion—lots and lots of fashion!
So, let’s get into this week’s obsessions shall we?
The New York–based Mozambican artist Cassi Namoda’s piece ‘Lurdes, Vania, & Maria on Sunday in Quelimane town’ (2021) is part of the UN Women’s “A Force for Change” benefit auction.
“I’ve lost my mind, I’ve spent the night—Crying on the floor of my bathroom.” You know what? Same Olivia, same. Fresh off a West Wing visit—wearing vintage Chanel at that—we just can’t get enough of the Gen Z voice of teen angst. Olivia Rodrigo (along with Willow Smith) are making the case for 90s/early aughts, coming of age soundtrack music—and we’re so here for it!
London based designer, Sohee Park—Miss Sohee—known for their exuberant colors, puffs and materiality—as well as being worn by the likes of CARDI B and SUNMI— presents her new Fall/Winter collection. And boy is it beautiful! This Black velvet top with scallop crystal details & embellished skirt made of abaca plant fabric, is just-WOW!
We know! We’ve talked a lot about about the Cannes red carpet—like a lot. But supermodel Cindy Bruna in this full Area hourglass blazer dress is everything.
A chair inspired by Magiela’s 99′ duvet collection? Um yes please! Adds to cart.
