Theres one thing to be said about fur hats, and it’s that they’re a controversial winter trend that polarize people on all ends of the style spectrum. Bona fide style icons like Emily Ratajkowski, Bella Hadid and Cara Delevingne have all been spotted recently wearing these fuzzy accoutrements on top of their heads. Regardless of personal opinion on these statement pieces, there’s something to be said about their timelessness, adaptability and functionality.
Most recently, Emily Ratajkowski was seen wearing an Emma Brewin Black Bucket faux fur hat (that gave us major Cruella de Vil vibes) while at the Shameless Festival at Battersea Arts Centre in London, England while promoting her new book, “My Body.” The look was paired with a ribbed black Isabel Marant sweater underneath a zebra faux fur Michael Kors Collection miniskirt and coat set, and a vibrant pair of red Jimmy Choo boots.
But we wouldn’t go as far to call this a trend if we didn’t have a few more examples to show you. Recently, Bella Hadid was seen walking the streets of New York City wearing a Emma Brewin Hazel Bucket Hat that added a layer of fuzzy cabin comfort to an everyday streetwear look, which consisted of a bright pink sweater and leopard print clogs, if we’re getting down to specifics.
As you’ve already read, Emma Brewin is having quite the moment, becoming a cult classic brand seen on celebrities from Rihanna to Ratajkowski.
Cara Delevingne, while attending a Saturday Night Live afterparty at L’Avenue in New York City, was also seen sporting this fuzzy hat trend and added quite the layer of wintery, cabincore flare to her look with a plaid overshirt.
