Lori Harvey and Michael B Jordan have been publicly dating for just over 12 months. This week when television personality and father Steve Harvey was asked what relationship advice he’d give his future son-in-law, his response was cold-hearted.

“I’m not gonna help him,” the TV presenter told E! News. “He’s gonna have to earn it.” Steve continued, with a more kind tone, noting that Jordan is a “nice guy” and “very respectful”.

“Relationships are hard, especially, they’re young,” he added. “They’re in a Hollywood-type relationship, and I’m cheering for them.”

Steve has come to have some main character energy in the couple’s loved-up romance. In a past interview with Ellen Degeneres, the 65-year-old admitted that he could not fault the Black Panther actor, even if he tried to.

“I have tried to find something wrong with him that I could dig in and go — ’cause I don’t got rid of all of ’em,” he said of Lori’s past relationships. “All of ’em. Some of them snuck in the back door on me and lasted a lot longer than I wanted it to.”

“But this guy, is such a good guy, man,” he continued. “He is one of the nicest guys. I’ve met his father. I’ve sat up with him, we’ve talked for hours. I just can’t find nothing wrong with him!”

In October last year, Lori became a bonafide business woman and launched her very own skincare line aptly dubbed, SKN by LH. “I’ve always been really obsessed with having super hydrated and glowy skin, but when I was younger I didn’t really know what to do our how to achieve that,” she said at the time of launching.

Of course, Jordan was in the background as her biggest stan. He was quick to comment stating he was “beyond proud”.
