After teasing the impending launch for several months, Lori Harvey has officially launched her highly anticipated skincare line. The model took to Instagram to announce the exciting release of her range, called is SKN by LH and consists of five clean, cruelty-free and vegan products.
“The wait is finally over… I’m so excited to announce that SKN by LH will be dropping this Friday Oct. 22 !!! I’ve been working on my skincare line for almost 3 years now and this journey has been nothing short of amazing,” she wrote. “I’ve learned so much during this process..it was a lot of trial and error because I’m extremely picky and wanted to make sure I was giving you guys quality products.”
While Harvey says that the SKN by LH range is suitable for all skin types, she adds that it is “especially catered to people with sensitive skin because that is something that I personally struggle with”.
Harvey has spoken openly about her difficulties with acne in the past, admitting that experimenting with skincare when she was a teenager only caused the condition of her skin to worsen. “I’ve always been really obsessed with having super hydrated and glowy skin, but when I was younger I didn’t really know what to do our how to achieve that,” she said.
The initial release of SKN by LH products includes a Goji Berry Cleanser, White Tea Toner, Vitamin C Serum, Peptide Eye Complex and Niacinamide Cream. After posting the announcement on Instagram, Harvey’s boyfriend Michael B. Jordan showed his support in the comments, with the actor saying he was “beyond proud” of her.
In a recent interview with People, Harvey revealed that her products helped to improve Jordan’s skin. “He just loves having a [skincare] routine now. Seeing him just like wipe his face with a wet rag in the morning…I was like, wait! I need to moisturize you,” she said. “His skin is thriving now.”
