In an exciting turn of events, US-Palestinian twin sisters and world-renowned DJs Simi and Haze Khadra are in Dubai for the launch of their beauty brand SimiHaze Beauty across Sephora Middle East. Yes, you heard that right! The sisters teased their partnership with international beauty haven Sephora on their joint Instagram account after arriving in Dubai on Thursday.
In their IG story, the twins added the flags of the U.A.E, Saudi Arabia, Qatar, Bahrain, and later Kuwait prompting that their products will be available at Sephora stores in these countries. As the beauty entrepreneurs grew up in Riyadh, Dubai, and London, it is indeed a full circle moment.
Launched in 2021, the cosmetics line SimiHaze Beauty was born when the duo got tired of mixing lipsticks together to create their desired formula. The twins revealed they had been putting stickers on their faces forever, and then an incredible epiphany came to them as they realised stickers could be eye makeup. The brand soon gained popularity because of its unique range of stick-on makeup designs that can be applied to the face for an instantly eye-catching appearance. Simi and Haze have managed to incorporate their striking styles and eccentric makeup looks which they were always known for.
These sticker packs feature an array of edgy designs inspired by their favourite DJ looks from the past, such as chrome wings, neon negative space eyeliner and holographic cat eyes. Before last year’s Coachella, the brand’s Eye Play Dance Packs and Eye Play Glitter Packs sold out three times each.
Additionally, SimiHaze Beauty has expanded to include a range of products, including lipsticks, balms, bronzing powders, highlighter, a lifting mascara and more.
