Regardless of whether the model-turned-mogul is on her Japanese babymoon with her husband Justin, on a tropical vacation sipping Spicy Margaritas (but more on that later) or emulating her inner-child by creating a frosty ‘Sugar Plum Fairy’ makeup style, Bieber has parlayed flushed cheeks into an indispensable part of her beauty arsenal.
“A little blush for a little flush,” is how Bieber describes the small but mighty buttery balm, titled Pocket Blush. Offered in six shades of pink, the baby-soft blush is an extension of her skin-first beauty regime. Of course, this lit from within quality has become heightened since announcing she’s expecting.
Available form June 20, Bieber has some beauty advice to her future children.
“If I ever have a daughter one day, my advice would be, less is more!” Bieber told GRAZIA UK.
“Blush is such a saturated space in general so I wanted ours to have a different vibe and a different life to it,” she continued. “How do you make something stand out? For me, it really is the story of it being that on-the-go, throw it in your purse blush. That’s what I felt was missing.”

What Makes The Rhode Pocket Blush So Special?

In this case, the Pocket Blush is intended to be your on-the-go beauty saviour, enhancing your glowing complexion with a subtle dash of colour from wherever you are.
Long gone are the days of toting a powder blush and fan brush around with you, with the miniature product even small enough to fit into a Jacquemus Le Chiquito.
“I wanted to create something that you could throw in your purse or toss in your pocket as you were going out for dinner, or to a concert, or wherever,” Bieber explained to GRAZIA UK. “And then, when you’re running around you can whip it out, touch up your cheeks and immediately bring some life to your face.”
Highlighting the powerful proportions of the product, Bieber tapped Paloma Elsesser and Alex Consani in a nostalgic campaign that positions the blush as your portable beauty must-have.
What Shades Is Rhode’s Pocket Blush Available In?
Launching with her largest product offering yet, the Pocket Blush is available in six specifically curated and buildable shades designed to compliment every skin tone. The hues range from a just-woke-up soft mauve glow to a sun-kissed neutral peach tinge, with a hot pink variation, tangy coral and bronze terracotta thrown in the mix for good measure.
There’s even a ‘Juice Box’, a fresh-squeezed bubblegum pink shade named after a schoolyard snack. And a ‘Spicy Marg’, a hue named after Bieber’s preferred vacation beverage and as peach and piquant as the drink itself. Ahead, a breakdown of each colour:
‘Juice Box’ is a fresh-squeezed, vibrant hot pink. (And as far as we can gauge Bieber’s favourite shade!) Reminiscent of the Lip Smackers shades from our childhood, this crushed strawberry hue is perfect to layer under the sheer pink ‘Ribbon’ lip gloss.
‘Freckle’ is a sun-kissed neutral tinged with a peach undertone. Blotch it across the apple of your cheeks and into your cheekbones for a diffused and slightly bronzed effect.
‘Piggy’ is the perfect baby pink that achieves a ‘your skin but butter’ flush. “The one that is personal to me is Piggy,” Bieber said of the name. “I have a dog that is called Piggy. She’s a cute blonde yorkie with a lot of attitude and she’s just a cute little girl so I felt like the colour matched her personality.”
‘Sleepy Girl’ is a soft mauve colour that is formulated to achieve an ‘I woke up in this’ radiance. The soft lilac undertone is ideal for a satin finish.
‘Spicy Marg’ is summer in a bottle. Speaking to VOGUE, Bieber described the shade as giving “vacation, summer, sunshine—and that’s the drink I think of when I think of all of those things. You can’t go wrong with a spicy marg”.
The ‘Toasted Teddy’ shade is the only product in the Pocket Blush range to directly reference an existing colour in Rhode’s wheelhouse; the ‘Toast’ lip gloss. Imbued with a terracotta tone, the product is the deepest shade within the line-up.
