Hailey Bieber is on island time. That is to say, she doesn’t have the space or mental capacity to read the reports that she and her husband, Justin Bieber, are in the throes of breaking up.
For the uninitiated, the model-turned-mogul and musician are currently the subject of rumours speculating their relationship status after the Rhode Beauty founder’s father, actor Stephen Baldwin, reshared a video to social media requesting fans pray for his daughter and son-in-law’s marriage. Though the Biebers didn’t explicitly address allegations of their split, the pair operated business as usual by exhibiting another display in anthesis couple dressing while attending church together in Los Angeles.
Now, the 27-year-old has subtly confronted the issue in her own way, taking to Instagram to share a series of bikini-laden sultry snaps under the balmy sun.
“I’ll be here if ya need me ✌🏼✌🏼,” the Saint Laurent muse captioned her photo dump, making apparent that the tabloid fodder nature of her nuptials is the last thing on her mind.
Of course, given our North American counterparts have just exited the depths of winter, we don’t blame Bieber for swapping vintage Roberto Cavalli fur and lingerie N°21 Numero Ventuno two-piece in Aspen for a fiery Tropic Of C triangle bikini and Lack Of Colour cowboy hat.
Though it’s presumed that these images were circulated belatedly and actually taken during the Bieber’s New Year’s Eve getaway to Barbados (where they were joined by Kendall Jenner and Bad Bunny), the shots do give fans a closer look into her enviable summer holiday wardrobe. (Other staples on the trip include a Christopher Esber floral print chainmail midi skirt and a LaQuan Smith slip dress.)
Integrally, Bieber used the speculation around her love life to soft-launch one of Rhode Beauty’s most-anticipated products.
Indeed, giving fans a look inside her carry-on beauty arsenal, Bieber included a picture of her applying a pearly pink cream blush to the apples of her cheek. “Juicy glow on the go” is how she teased the colour complexion product.
Though the product appeared to possess a similar packaging to Chanel Beauty’s beloved Glow Stick, Bieber confirmed that the blush wasn’t in its final iteration yet. When that will be we can’t say. But when the moment does arrive, we can only imagine the fanfare that will erupt around the launch.
