Her Majesty Queen Rania has welcomed the Holy Month of Ramadan with a heartfelt celebration and captured some sweet moments with her family.

In a joint post with the Royal Hashemite Court, the Jordanian Queen shared a touching video on Instagram to commemorate the occasion, offering a rare glimpse into their Iftar gathering from the weekend.

“There’s no greater blessing than being surrounded by family. Ramadan Kareem to you and your loved ones,” she captioned the post.

The post showcased the view of the Royal Palace at Iftar and showed some highlights of the evening.

His Majesty King Abdullah embraced and blessed the younger family members and also shared a tender moment with his daughter, Her Royal Highness Princess Salama.

Of course, while Queen Rania warmly greeted fellow relatives and dignitaries, she made sure to dress spectacularly. For the occasion, she wore a draped high-neck brown dress paired with a matching accessory: a Bottega Veneta Wallace shoulder bag in the same colourway.

The heartwarming video also captured His Royal Highness Crown Prince Hussein exchanging Ramadan wishes with his mother. At the same time, Her Royal Highness Princess Rajwa made an elegant appearance wearing a kaftan in soft lavender with traditional Jordanian embroideries.

Another standout moment was Queen Rania proudly sharing snapshots of Princess Iman, the daughter of Crown Prince Hussein and Princess Rajwa, with loved ones.

The Queen embraces her new role as a grandmother

Of course, her excitement in showing her first granddaughter at the Iftar dinner was just another moment added to the list of the Queen embracing her new role as a grandmother.

Just before the Queen inaugurated the Holy Month, she celebrated and welcomed her second grandchild, Princess Amina, the daughter of Her Royal Highness Princess Iman and her husband, Jameel Alexander Thermiotis.

The princess, who was born on February 16, 2025, was immediately engulfed with the family’s love and blessings.

Queen Rania took to Instagram to share the delightful news: “We’re grateful and overjoyed to meet Amina, our family’s newest blessing.”

The Jordanian queen couldn’t help but gush that her daughter is also embracing her new role as a mother. “My darling Iman is now a mother,” she said before adding her congratulations, “Congratulations Jameel and Iman. God bless you and your precious little girl.”
