The eldest daughter of His Majesty King Abdullah II and Her Majesty Queen Rania, Princess Iman of Jordan stands out as a symbol of grace and sophistication.

She has three siblings

Princess Iman bint Abdullah II was born on September 27, 1996, as the second child and eldest daughter of King Abdullah II and Queen Rania of Jordan. As a member of the Hashemite family, she belongs to one of the world’s oldest ruling dynasties.

The 27-year-old royal has an elder brother, Crown Prince Hussein, who is currently Jordan’s heir apparent. She also has two younger siblings, Princess Salma – who is four years her junior, and Prince Hashem, who is nine years younger and was born in 2005.

She pursued her higher studies in the US

Despite her royal status, Princess Iman’s upbringing was grounded in education and public service. She attended the International Academy Amman (IAA) in Jordan before pursuing higher education abroad. She later graduated from Georgetown University in Washington, D.C., before transferring to New York’s Parsons School of Design to complete her Bachelor’s Degree.

She got married recently

The princess was the first of her siblings to get married, ahead of her brother, Crown Prince Hussein, who was next to tie the knot, with Princess Rajwa Al Saif from Saudi Arabia.

On March 12, 2023, wearing a white custom Dior wedding gown with lace cuffed sleeves and a diamond tiara, the royal married Jameel Alexander Thermiotis. Her husband is a New York financier who was born in Caracas, Venezuela, and is of Greek descent.

She’s an equestrian

Beyond her royal duties, Princess Iman is known for her diverse interests and talents. She has a keen passion for horseback riding, a sport she has pursued competitively. Additionally, she has demonstrated an interest in art and photography, showcasing her creative side through her work and contributions to cultural events.
