
In a captivating union that has captured the hearts of the nation, His Royal Highness Crown Prince Hussein and Her Royal Highness Crown Princess Rajwa Al Saif are now officially married. The wedding ceremony took place at Zahran Palace on June 1st, 2023. Led by His Majesty King Abdullah and Her Majesty Queen Rania, the celebration was attended by distinguished guests, including members of royal families from across the world, the Hashemite family, Arab and foreign world leaders.

The engagement of the couple was officially announced in August, 2022. Her Royal Highness Princess Iman, accompanied by her husband Jameel Alexander Thermiótis, were also in attendance for her big brother’s wedding. She and Her Royal Highness Princess Salma attended to the bride, whilst His Royal Highness Prince Hashem walked her down the aisle.

The newly-wedded couple exchanged vows in a traditional Islamic ceremony known as Katb Ktab witnessed by 140 esteemed guests. For the wedding ceremony, Rajwa wore a custom Elie Saab couture gown styled with elegant bridal accessories and a romantic floral bouquet.

After the official wedding ceremony, the couple travelled to Al Husseiniya Palace in a royal procession rooted in Jordanian tradition known as the Red Motorcade. After the procession, they were greeted with a traditional Jordanian Zaffeh, a custom that includes dancers performers and bagpipes.

With 1,700 guests in attendance, the reception was filled with performances by local and regional singers, the national orchestra, and more. Incorporating Jordan’s rich customs, the wedding ceremony of Crown Prince Hussein and Rajwa Al Saif was the epitome of love, harmony, and elegance.
