It seems like yesterday that The Royal Hashemite Court announced His Royal Highness Crown Prince Hussein’s engagement to Saudi architect Rajwa Al Saif. After months of anticipation, Jordan’s royal couple said “I do” at the Zahran Palace in Amman.

Rajwa Al Saif looked every inch the fairytale bride during her royal wedding, opting for an elegantly streamlined gown by Lebanese designer Elie Saab. The timeless dress consisted of sleek yet luxurious design details, including a delicate-as-air veil and an extra-long train. Elie Saab pulled inspiration from traditional weddings to create a timeless bridal look for Rajwa Al Saif, opting for a classic colour palette of white and ivory.

The designer applied layers upon layers of ivory silk on the royal wedding dress with couture-level attention to detail. This material was skillfully draped across the torso of the gown as pleating to create the perfect blend of romance and sophistication for Rajwa al Saif’s bridal gown.

For bridal jewellery, Rajwa Al Saif wore diamond earrings and, of course, a tiara fit for a princess (and future Queen). The curated accessories shined as she walked down the aisle and perfectly complemented the pear-cut diamond wedding ring given to her by Jordan’s Crown Prince.

An elegant bouquet of flowers and a simple makeup look completed Rajwa Al Saif’s royal wedding day look. She was escorted by Prince Hashem bin Abdullah II, the brother of the groom and the youngest son of their Majesties King Abdullah II and Queen Rania Al Abdullah.

For the occasion, Queen Rania opted for a sleek Dior gown styled with a gold bag. The mother of the bride, Azza bint Nayef bin Abdulaziz bin Ahmed Al Sudairi, wore a sophisticated light purple look.
