about the LOEWE x Suna Fujita Holiday Collection
The holiday collection brings charming magic to the season through its joyful collaboration with Suna Fujita. Fujita is a ceramic workshop located in Kyoto, and Shohei Fujita and Chisato Yamano – who were introduced in a short documentary film – are its founders. They credit imagination, childhood memories and their life with their son and pet dog as their inspiration for their artwork, which consists of hand-painted stories on ceramics like teapots, cups and plates. These have been translated into accessories, wallets, slippers, knitwear, jersey and denim for SS24.

A playful lemur hangs around the handle of a Hammock bag, an otter makes an appearance on polka-dot cardholders and a seal materialises as a charming felt pendant.
Exaggerated proportions are a key theme in the collection’s high-waisted ready-to-wear shapes for both men’s and women’s clothing, whilst argyle knits in striking colour combinations are key staple pieces. Signature bags come in charming new colours and soft leathers, such as the elegantly ruched Squeeze. Accessory pieces like the Puzzle Fold charms, inflated cat-eye sunglasses and a rainbow stack of soft mohair scarves are all enlivened by vibrant hues.
A collection with a cause
Inspired by the childlike delight of Suna Fujita’s miniature worlds, LOEWE will contribute a portion of the earnings from each LOEWE x Suna Fujita sale to the Save the Children’s Education in Emergencies initiative. The programme strives to provide secure and nurturing learning environments for children in global humanitarian crises.
