Kim Cattrall has found her next fashionable calling and oh my, Samantha Jones would be proud. Today luxury online shopping destination Farfetch unveiled the Spring/Summer 2022 campaign starring none other than the legendary actress. She appears alongside Josh Hartnett, Steve Lacy and María Isabel. Titled #YourChoiceYourFARFETCH, the campaign that celebrates personal style and the references that inform it as inspired by moodboard culture. Admit it, we all have a prolific Pinterest account.

Cattrall leads the video, renowned for her beloved Sex and the City character and Samantha-esque style on and off-screen as well making her own choices. Y2K style cues are realised by 2000s pin-up actor Josh Hartnett, Dominican-American Latinx singer María Isabel, influenced by childhood heroes Alicia Keys, Mariah Carey and Sade while musician and producer Steve Lacy ushers in a distinctive Gen-Z sense of fashion.

“We really wanted to create a campaign that ultimately communicates to consumers that there are no expectations when it comes to their self expression through fashion,” Hollie Rogers, Chief Brand Office at Farfetch says. “Our protagonists in the #YourChoiceYourFARFETCH campaign represent fashion lovers across a range of ages and style references, choosing the pieces that make them feel more confident and empowered. FARFETCH makes this possible with a range of fashion like no other – from the mini skirt of the moment and timeless must-haves, to the pieces you didn’t even know you had to have – offering countless possibilities and endless ways to express what makes you, you.”

In November last year it was revealed that Cattrall would join the Peacock production of Queer As Folk in a reoccurring role. The 65-year-old actress garnered plenty of headlines in 2021 when it was revealed she would not join the Sex and the City reboot, And Just Like That. It is speculated to be due to a falling out with co-star, Sarah Jessica Parker.

All-in-all, it seems she is doing just fine. Shop the Farfetch campaign, here.
