With much sorrow, The Royal Hashemite Court announced on Sunday the passing of Princess Rajwa Al Hussein’s father, Khaled bin Musaed bin Abdulaziz Al Saif, who was a prominent figure in the business realm in Saudi.

Expressing their deepest condolences and sympathies to the royal family during these difficult times, the Royal Hashemite Court released a statement, “The Royal Hashemite Court mourns the passing of the father of Her Royal Highness Princess Rajwa Al Hussein, Khaled bin Musaed bin Saif bin Abdulaziz Al Saif, may his soul rest in peace.”

By His Majesty King Abdullah’s orders, the Royal Hashemite Court has announced three days of mourning, as of Sunday, 18 February 2024, to honour the legacy and profound impact of his life.

“The Royal Hashemite Court expresses its deepest sympathies and condolences to Their Majesties King Abdullah II ibn Al Hussein and Queen Rania Al Abdullah, Their Royal Highnesses Crown Prince Al Hussein bin Abdullah II and Princess Rajwa Al Hussein, and to Al Saif family in these difficult times,” the court said in a statement.

As the nation mourns the loss of Khaled bin Musaed bin Abdulaziz Al Saif, his impact and life are reminisced by all those who knew him.

Born in 1953, Al Saif traces back his lineage to the Subai tribes of the region and comes from a line of Sheikhs from Al Attar in Sudair, Najd, since the former king Abdulaziz Al Saud began his reign.

After graduating from the American University in Beirut, where he studied engineering, Khaled Al Saif went on to accomplish a multitude during his lifetime. He was prominently known for his business ventures and for being the President and CEO of the Al Seif Group, one of the top 25 companies in Saudi. He was also a board member of Musaed Al Seif & Sons Company, International Management Development Company and many more.

A visionary in the business world, Al Saif founded the Arabian Medicare Company, Universal Advanced Systems Company, El Seif Engineering Contracting Establishment and El Seif Development Company. Besides his business ventures, Al Saif also indulged in philanthropy and was a board member of the Riyadh Philanthropic Society for Science at Prince Sultan University.

He made it a point to leave behind a positive legacy for all those around him, whether it be through philanthropy or his businesses. Al Saif stood as an ingenious individual who will be missed by all.
