After Kanye West threatened to beat up Kim Kardashian’s new (young, funny and handsome) boyfriend Pete Davidson, we’re not surprised the former couple cannot coexist, even at their daughter’s fourth birthday party.

The rapper, 44, went live on social media telling his millions of followers that he wasn’t allowed to attend his daughter Chicago’s birthday, and that his ex-wife “wouldn’t give me the address.”

“Ya’ll, I’m just wishing my daughter a public happy birthday. I wasn’t allowed to know where her party was,” West said.

“I’m just putting this online because I need ya’ll support. I’ve called Kim, texted the nannies, I got on the phone with Tristan [Thompson], he said he’d ask Khloe [Kardashian]. Won’t nobody give me the address to my daughter’s birthday party right now, and that’s going to imprint in her mind that I wasn’t there for her.”

Thanks to Instagram accounts like @kyliesnapchat, we were able to see that West (in his new trademark – a singlet) indeed did make it into the party and was seen standing next to a masked-up Kris Jenner –  footage pulled from Travis Barker’s step-daughter’s Atiana De La Hoya’s Instagram account. Barker of course is engaged to Kardashian’s sister, Kourtney. You keeping up?

After the party, West went live on social media again, this time letting us all know what went down when he pulled up at the security gates of the party venue. And of course, one rogue rapper assisted another rogue rapper.

“Shout out to Travis Scott for sending me the address and the time [of the party] and making sure that I was able to spend that birthday memory with my daughter, and being there with the rest of the family,” said West.

“Kylie [Jenner] let me in… because security stopped me.”

“It’s just a matter of having a conversation, open dialogue, everyone had a great time and I was just really happy that I was able to be there for my children.”

West then thanked everyone for their support and for “letting me calmly and legally take control of my narrative.”

“I know we disagree, people have different opinions on lots of things I do but with this one, my life’s centre is around my children,” he continued.

Kardashian, however, reportedly had a different recollection of events, with a source telling the New York Post that the former couple had agreed on two separate parties for Chicago.

“Kanye was always supposed to have Chi at 4,” the source explained. “They pre-agreed to have two separate events and it was his idea.

“Kim was shocked that he went on ‘live’ accusing her when it was his idea to begin with to have two separate parties. She was going to have hers early in the day and he was throwing Chi her own separate party. No one was trying to stop him from coming.”

West’s new track “My Life Was Never Easy” features a line that says “God saved me from that crash / Just so I can beat Pete Davidson’s a**.” The rapper is dating actress Julia Fox, news confirmed via a strange public display of affection.
