It will come as no surprise that Amina Muaddi is already a household name, as she has become one of the world’s most sought-after shoe designers. Her signature geometric flared heel has collated many celebrity admirers from Rihanna, Kendall and Kylie Jenner to Dua Lipa. The Jordanian-Romanian designer first launched her namesake label back in 2018 and when her first collection launched in 2019, it had completely sold out within just a single day. It’s suffice to say that the label has now become one of the most exclusive in the industry, with a pair of iconic flared heels on every woman’s wishlist.

Amina muaddi x fenty

After winning the Footwear New Designer Of The Year award in 2019, Muaddi revealed that Rihanna had hired her to work on the footwear collection for her eponymous Fenty label. Due to the success of the first collaboration, they then released a second line, which is undoubtedly even more glamorous, titled Release 11-20. Although the shoes were adored by many of Instagram’s finest influencers, sadly, we later learned that Rihanna had closed her Fenty fashion label. However, her Savage X Fenty lingerie label as well as Fenty Beauty will still continue to live on and thrive. Fierce comeback pending? We think so, watch this space.

Amina Muaddi X Wolford

Did somebody say catsuit with built in shoes? Austrian luxury skin-wear brand Wolford joined forces with Amina Muaddi for an exclusive 17-piece ready-to-wear capsule collection. Keeping in line with Wolford’s DNA, the collection embodies a new modern twist on their classic hosiery with a vivid colour scheme whilst keeping the aesthetic timeless and classic.

Amina muaddi x awge

There’s really no slowing the designer down, as A$AP Rocky was the next to ask Muaddi to jump on making a killer collab together, and if we may say this is the ultimate party shoe. With their mutual admiration for style, you can see the two creatives kept their own identity strongly embedded within the collection; Muaddi’s signature blunted heel teamed with Rocky’s strong creative direction keeping the four shoe styles as authentic as possible to each designer’s ethos.

We do not expect the media frenzy to grind to a holt any time soon, with the release of only two collections a year and opting to not over mass-produce, this serves the brand well and keeps interests high amongst fans. With always keeping intact with what the consumer wants, we are yet to see the best of Amina Muaddi.
