Hollywood star Margaret Qualley took a trip down aisle lane for Chanel’s fall-winter 2021/22 Haute Couture show.

Spotted in the shows finale, the actress and Chanel ambassador closed the show with the sweetest high-neck, long-sleeved wedding gown, paired with the chicest pillbox hat covered in a polka-dot veil. The Chanel bride carried a pink and purple bouquet, and let me tell you, our hearts were in complete awe watching her walk down the Chanel runway. Toward the end of the show, Qualley turned her back to the crowd and tossed the bouquet, where InStyle Editor-in-Chief Laura Brown caught (what an absolute dream.)

When it comes to Couture week, seeing wedding gowns walking down the aisle is quite standard, but something about Chanel’s finale bride took us back in time and gave us major nostalgia to the early 1950s, where cinched waists, polka dot garments and structured shapes were vital in the ever-so-feminine decade.

The Haute Couture show took place in a Neo-renaissance architecture of the Palais Galliera in the City of Paris Fashion Museum. Included in the collection were an array of Chanel’s signature pleated sets, full-length skirts, floral prints and clean-cut ruffles, with pops of colour shown throughout the collection.
