Sex And The City, despite its problematic tendencies, has no doubt been the biggest fashion force to come out of pop culture. It’s been more than 15 years since we last saw Carrie, Charlotte, Miranda and Samantha on our screens, so last year’s news of an upcoming reboot was exciting.
And Just Like That is now officially underway filming in New York (sadly minus Samantha), and has been accompanied by a slow drip-feed of outfit photo leaks. The reboot costume designers, Danny Santiago and Molly Rogers — who took over Patricia Field’s longtime tenure — know exactly how to bait us, and have woven in a handful of accessories that are all too familiar.
We’re still waiting on a Carrie necklace sighting, but for now enjoy these confirmed accessory reappearances.
The Fendi Baguette
Carrie wouldn’t be Carrie without a Fendi Baguette slung over her shoulder. Remember when she was mugged on the streets of New York and her response was not to scream but to correct the attacker that it was a “baguette” and not a mere bag? Evidently, somewhere between season three and now she got it back, because the purple sequinned design seen during filming looks very similar.

The Belt
The internet went into a tailspin earlier today when it caught wind that Carrie’s infamous studded belt was making a comeback. Catch its initial appearance below in the 2008 movie where Carrie accompanied Miranda as she shopped for a Halloween costume in CVS (witch, or sexy kitten).
The Pearls
Carrie’s always been fond of pearls — whether worn in 80s tangles around her neck or just as a single strand. So it makes perfect sense they’re back, this time paired with a fuchsia Carolina Herrera dress, black Manolo pumps and the aforementioned belt.
The Hats
Eccentric headwear is to Carrie what a jewel-toned skirt suit is to Samantha — the ultimate fashion power move. And Just Like That wouldn’t be right without a weird-but-wonderful hat, and thankfully we’ve already got a confirmed sighting below.
