Rumours have been swirling for months about the current status of Kim Kardashian and Kanye West’s marriage – are they getting divorced, or aren’t they? Do they still live together in their sprawling Calabasas abode? Kardashian has remained unusually quiet on the matter – probably on orders from publicity mastermind Kris Jenner, who will likely want all the details saved for the upcoming final season of Keeping Up With The Kardashians.
Fans have turned to Instagram for answers, searching every photo or video Kardashian posts for hints as to the couple’s future. And now eagle-eyed observers have noticed that the reality star’s new Skims showroom looks suspiciously similar to what was once West’s Yeezy closet.
Kardashian told her followers this week that she had “a full Skims showroom in my house now” but online sleuths have picked up on the room’s identical appearance to the one that once belonged to West and housed his Yeezy collection, as shown in an episode of David Letterman’s Netflix series, My Next Guest Needs No Introduction.
“Looks like as reported several times by you guys, Kanye does not live with Kim,” Deux Moi wrote of Kardashian’s apparent closet clean-out. Fans then placed side-by-side comparisons of the room, pointing to the identical L-shaped layout with what appears to be the same distinctive overhead light fittings.
It should noted that West is said to have been residing in his Wyoming property over that past few months, so the switch could be related to his current living arrangement. It’s also entirely feasible that the Kardashian-West compound – which adheres to a strict interior protocol of minimal decoration and zero labels – could indeed have identical rooms.
While the pair are yet to comment on their rumoured split, insiders close to Kardashian insist that divorce proceedings are already underway.
