Looking for the best film releases? Look no further. After two years of a lacklustre box office, it is safe to say that the Friday evening act of attending the cinema has returned. While streaming blockbuster films from the comfort of our very own homes was once a novelty, there is something so special about leaving the house and seeing a film on the big screen. Highly recommended if you’re thinking about seeing Baz Luhrmann’s ELVIS (you absolutely should).
Restrictions have seen some of the most-anticipated films from the last three years severely delayed and now, they are colliding into the cinema all at once. Below we list all the best film releases for the remainder of 2022. Because there is a lot!

The rest of the month includes book adaptions (a highly-contested genre) with Jane Austen’s Persuasion reimagined into a modern rom-com on Netflix. Where The Crawdads Sing will see Daisy Edgar-Jones make her cinematic debut in heart-stopping thriller to close out July.

Our attention will turn to Netflix for a movie night at home with the release of BLONDE starring Ana de Armas. The Cuban actress will transform into Marilyn Monroe for an explosive adaption of Joyce Carol Oates’ novel of the same name.
Next, Saoirse Ronan is welcomed back to the silver screen with the 20th Century Studios film See How They Run. A light-hearted comedic take on a 1950s murder mystery. And finally, the month ends with the Disney+ release of Hocus Pocus 2, just in time for spooky season.
