Not for the faint-hearted, Anya Taylor-Joy has joined Nicholas Hoult and Ralph Fiennes for the new comedy-thriller film, The Menu. Searchlight Pictures released the official teaser trailer this week to combine fine dining and the suff of our cultish nightmares.

According to an early synopsis, the film follows a couple (Taylor-Joy and Hoult) who travel to an island for a luxurious evening of degustation from Head Chef Slowik (Fiennes). All is not what it seems when guests slowly come to realise a more sinister plan is at play.

All we can think right now though is who the actress wearing?!

The Menu is directed by Mark Mloyd who is best known for his work on Succession and Entourage. It is written by Seth Reiss and Will Tracy and, produced by Adam MacKay (who directed blockbusters Don’t Look Up, The Big Short and VICE) as well as Betsy Koch. With an impressive list of creatives behind the film, it is sure to be captivating.

The cast also stars Hong Chau, Janet McTeer, Judith Light, Reed Birney, Paul Adelstein, Aimee Carrero, Arturo Castto, Mart St. Cyr, Rob Yan, and John Leguizamo.

It’s not the first horror-esque project Taylor-Joy has appeared in. Last year she starred alongside Matt Smith and Thomasin McKenzie in a mind-bending psychological thriller Last Night In SohoWe’re set to see plenty more of the actress with some of her new projects like Amsterdam, Super Mario Bros: The Movie and Laughter in the Dark all in pre-production.

Nicholas Hoult has recently starred in period comedy, The Great, alongside Elle Fanning.
